harvest tips

  • The day could start out cool and can easily warm up by early afternoon, so we suggest layered clothing and sturdy shoes or boots. Sandals or open toes are not recommended, nor is white clothing
  • Bring a pair of gloves, especially if you don’t want your hands to get sticky from picking the grapes.  Dishwashing gloves works better than work gloves as they are flexible.
  • Bring a hat, sunblock and a bottle of water, especially if you are taking part in one of the more lengthy activities
  • Bring your medicine if you are allergic to bees or get hayfever
  • Don’t forget your camera as you will have plenty opportunity to capture your hands-on harvest experience
  • Most importantly, remember you are here to have a great time!

Sorry, apart from guide dogs, no pets allowed!
